A Functional Neurodevelopment Exam helps us find areas where the brain or body may not be working together as smoothly as they could. We look at things like developmental reflexes, posture, balance, gait, muscle tone, eye tracking, motor timing, and thinking skills. Once we see where the weak spots are, we build a plan to strengthen and connect them.
Because the brain is so complex, our plans are multi-dimensional, using many tools to activate underconnected areas and help the brain work in better balance.
In most cases, we use a combination of the following:
