Neuro-Motor Rehabilitation

Many children with developmental delays have muscles and movement patterns that haven’t fully developed yet. This can make balance, posture, and coordination more difficult. Through neuro-motor rehabilitation, we strengthen both the brain and body to help improve movement, confidence, and overall function.

THE GOAL OF NEURO-MOTOR REHABILITATION IS TO HELP NORMALIZE MOVEMENT FOR EACH CHILD OR ADULT.

We do this by specifically strengthening the brain areas and body systems that control movement and coordination.

We use neuro-motor rehabilitation to help individuals:

  • Integrate primitive and postural reflexes

  • Improve fine and gross motor skills

  • Support healthy muscle tone

  • Build postural strength

  • Enhance balance and stability

  • Strengthen eye tracking and control

  • Improve coordination and motor timing

I’ve had an uncontrollable head-bob for many years, have struggled with an irritable gut, and a mind that doesn’t shut off.  Since working with Dr. Karen, my head-bob has decreased significantly - even my doctor noticed it improved.  My digestion has improved I’m sleeping better and longer throughout the night. Dr. Karen is kind, caring, and very knowledgeable.
